... and I remember when LORAN was all the rage.. then EFIS.. Now we have flat panels in Cessna 172s that are far better than what many Part 135 aircraft are flying with. Isn't progress wonderful? (chuckle) Unfortunately, I think many student pilots are going to be up the creek without a paddle the first time they have an electrical problem that takes out all the gizmos- and their left with having to use old fashion pilotage, sectional, flight computer and plotter ;)
