This was a weekend project where I would create my own Redi-Mod ReDIY-Mod modification of a Redi-Mag. I used a Dremel and a drill to make the cuts and holes (thus the random overcuts from the cutting discs). Instead of using the rubber sleeve around the magwell, I coated the interior of the magwell attachment with Plasti-Dip. Some detail comments are in the photo section closeups...

Other mods included refinishing it in OD KG-gunkote and a modification to the magazine release that allows it to function with the main magazine release on the rifle. The overall weight was reduced (prior to Plasti-Dip coating) from 8.3 oz to 6.1 oz.
