Several years ago a radio collared sow grizzly bear known as bear 264 and her two year old cubs found a bison carcass in Obsidian Creek. She and her cubs spent the next several days feeding on the carcass and resting nearby. This gallery includes photos of the sow grizzly and her two cubs during a heavy May snow storm. The Yellowstone Park rangers did a nice job of allowing people to watch and photograph the bears from the road and still make sure the bears had enough room. It was a pretty cool photo opportunity.
