This is a good view of the Santa Clara river, one of the main drainage channels in Ventura County. It is a mile or two north of the harbors shown in the previous picture. To the right of the river mouth is the Ventura Harbor Marina. Its proximity to the river puts it at risk of being inundated with mud during very severe storms.
