Sri Lanka

On September 06, 2003, Singapore Nature Photography Society's members Graeme Guy, Aaron , Dennis Ho and myself embarked on a journey of nature photographic experience in a country where nature and wildlife are their heritage.

This journey required us some intial planning and preparation in advance as it was the 1st time we are in Sri Lanka. The main national parks we went are Yala, Uda Walawe and Bundala. People in Sri Lanka are very friendly and sincere although they have been terrorised by the tamil tigers for many years.
In the journey my equipment used are Minolta Dynax800si/ 600si and 400mm G/ 50mm f1.7/24mm f2.8 lenses. The equipment has been replaced by Canon digital SLR since end of 2003 in the quest for me to go into digital. Film used Fuji Velvia and Provia. The slides are then scanned.
