This stop was the unplanned short visit before going to Bundala recommended by our guide as him understood our need and interest. Initially after reaching the village, the first impression was a very quiet village. Upon settling down for the next 15minutes while having our breakfast, we were surpised to see serpent eagle nesting on a tree just where our jeep was park. There were Stork bill kingfisher, Weavers, Prinia, Purple waterhen and fighting ergets there too. The weather that day was rainy though.
