Weiss "Emeno" Crest Plier for Spectacles

Can you identify this tool? Looks to be made of brass. Update - Mystery solved, see below.
It has a "2" on one side and "EMENO" on the inside surface on one handle and "WEISS - DENVER" on the inside of the other handle.
