A Sad Story.......

As I heard it second or tenth hand.....About a year ago two guys were returning home down the Forest Service 26 road from the Green River area of the Gifford Pichot NF on a dark night. Apparently the driver fell asleep and left the road and flew over the hill side here. By chance the pickup caught on a tree after about 100 feet down the hill and the two guys survived the mishap. The horses were not as lucky. The two horses and horse trailer continued another 100 feet then dropped over a couple hundred feet vertical cliff to it's final resting point. Needless to say, the horses did not survive, may they rest in peace. Drive safely on those mountain roads, your horses are counting on YOU!
