The one mile section of the Klickitat trail from St John Lake has about 45 windfalls across the trail with most smaller then 16" diameter. One about 30" is located about 0.1 mile from the top of the Mission Mtn Ridge. The trail is brushy in many areas and some tread work is needed to widen the walking surface. The grade near the ridge is very steep with a grade about 45%.
