I grew up in Seattle and my father's idea of a Sunday afternoon family outing was a ferry ride. We usually rode the Edmonds-Kingston route, went down to Bremerton and came back via the Bremerton ferry. Thanks for a trip down memory lane.
I was stationed at Madigan Army Medical Center a couple of times during a career with the US Army. One of our favorite activities was riding the Washington State Ferries from Seattle to Bremerton or through the San Juans. This photo really brings back fond memories. Thanks for sharing. Voted
