A baby Banggai cardinalfish (Pterapogon kauderni) takes shelter in frogspawn coral. Born in this community tank, he survived by using the stinging tentacles of the coral as his protector. Unfortunately he was eventually killed, presumably by his own father, who perceived him as a rival after he reached sexual maturity.
