NECCC Model Shoot 2005

The pictures in this album were taken at the 60th Annual Photo Conference of the New England Camera Club Council http://www.neccc.org/index.htm held on July 15, 16 & 17, 2005 at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA. This was my first time attending the program that included 17 models http://www.neccc.org/Models05%20Group.htm posing in various outfits at various locations all day Saturday July 16 and the morning of Sunday July 17. The models were very professional and posed with little or no instruction (although there were suggestions from the photographers from time to time). Therefore, the only true controls by the photographer were selecting the spot from where to shoot (as long as it didn’t interfere with other photographers), making the proper settings, framing and deciding when to shoot. The models with their professionalism would turn their heads slowly and make eye contact with each of the cameras in each of their poses. The following pics are some of the approximately 1000 shots I took mainly using my Sigma 70-300/4-5.6 APO Macro Super. Unless otherwise noted, they are completely unretouched. It also should be noted that this was my first time shooting models.
