Church door at Welford, Wilts

This was a small church just outside of RAF Fairford, Glocs, a joint USAF/RAF base where I was staioned in the early 80's

I never visited the church until we returned this past April, 04

I've always loved the old, archaic look of English doors. This is an excellent photograph, and it encompasses many different dynamics of the English culture. What were you doing in Welford, Wilts?
