Marilyn n me

Just a few images of "Marilyn the car" that I have been chronicling since she became the focus of my cameras. I have over a thousand images of her in her first 50,000 miles and I plan on shooting her regularly until either her or I wear out! Hope you enjoy. Jim
PS, Many of these images were processed a few years ago while using an earlier CRT monitor that had been deteriorating slowly (unknown to me) and as a result many images posted here earlier are over saturated. Just too many for me to go back at this point in time and correct/repost them. Thanks.

Superb shots and awsesome car !! shame petrol or Gas here in the UK is so expensive or I would buy on. As a point of intrest they can now be purchased as used impotrs from Japan in the UK now for about £12k.

Great gallery. We old guys really like our toys. Is that really your Marilyn in left pic of Spankys repair.jpg? If so, how did you survive and how was Spanky able to bring Marilyn back so beautifully? Also, how were you able to take that speedometer pic at that speed, or was that just before left pic of Spankys repair.jpg? :)

Fit's rather funny that i found you at DP Review while looking for dSLR opinions. I saw your lonely Z at the end of an image post, so i clicked the gallery and what do i find? ...great pictures of a Sunset Orange 350Z!

It looks like you're out west, yet you have a Z1 sticker. I think that means you would love to come east and ride the twisty roads. Check out the yearly event... www.zdayzevents.com. You just might get the longest drive awar :)

nice car...did they ever work out the suspension issue with the tires and the premature wearing? every one I've seen has a feathering issue otherwise I'd own one. buddy of mine locally has a G35 coupe with a supercharger and dyno'd at 390hp. not bad for a little six.
