This DC-9 was Ladybird Johnson's private plane. After LBJ died and she grew older, the plane was sold to a group of investors to restore. They ran out of money and now the plane sits in disrepair on the ramp of the Goodyear airport outside of Phoenix, Arizona.Saw it today and gained permission to photograph my car in its shadow.
