| Looking south along Quito's main axis. That impressive volcano in the upper left is Cotopaxi, which we tried to visit on the day we drove to the Saquisili market, but with clouds hanging around ground level, we couldn't see anything remotely like this. Across that valley from Cotopaxi, just to the right of upper center, are the Iliniza volcano peaks, just slightly lower. The Hosteria San Jorge would be just out of the frame to the right.
