| Our panga route was through a channel filled with more pangas, bright yellow water taxis and other small water craft, in an atmosphere that seemed almost Venetian (not that I'd know). From the dock, we walked along Puerto Ayora's waterfront to the Charles Darwin Research Station, where emphasis is definitely placed on the islands' giant land tortoises.
