Thanks Shelly, I've lived in this area for 35 yrs and this is the first one I have seen. I guess I need to leave my yard more often. He was certainly fun to watch, I watched him from a distance for about a 1/2 hr trying to get shots with the 2x tc on my 70-200 which doesn't often give the best results. I finally decided to ditch the 2x and see how close I could get. I managed to get within about 25 ft. before he started getting nervous so I didn't go any closer, just sat and watched him for another 1/2 hr till I filled up my memory card.
