This week alone we have had several new visitors to our feeding, and watering station. Yellow headed Blackbird, Bullocks Oriole, Olive sided Flycatcher, and today a Western Tanager. I sure wish we had a good camera for the droves of American gold finches that visited this spring. I think I am getting such a variety this year because I have three watering stations this year.

Thank you. Junkos began visiting our yard this spring. Very shy and tending to hide in a thistle bush when the larger birds show up at the feeders, they wait until the others have cleared off and pick up all the spilled food beneath the feeders. You photos are amazing and I too wish my kitchen window held such beauty. Pine City, Minnesota.

Thanks Lisa, Believe me it is very excitiing when they come around. I've deleted many photo's because I was so excited that I couldn't hold the camera still. I tried leaving my tripod and camera set up on the kitchen counter but it only took about 2 days for my wife to put a stop to that. Jim

Jim, you have a nice gallery of backyard birds. I'd give anything to see a hawk sitting outside my kitchen window...there is a red-tailed hawk that occasionally perches high in the pines, but I never get a chance to get a shot of him. Lisa
