The reason I haven't sent it back yet is because I think it will come back without the whine but running much hotter. It was a lot of work fixing the heat problem and I'm not sure yet if I want to do it again. -Chris

Your macbook pro is generating whine sound?
I believed Apple has acknowledged this problem and begun to replace the motherboard if you send it back for service.
Macbook doesn't suffer from the same problem.

So both of you are into Apple stuff. I wonder if your Macbook makes the infamous "whine" sound like my MacBook Pro.
