Looking at the picture, and notknowing where or when this was photographed, I would with fair degree of certainty say it is a Franklin's gull. The main thing I am seeing to differentiate this from laughing gull is the white on the wing primaries and the way it overtakes the black wing tip. Nice bird gallery - thanks for sharing.
