This was taken minutes before the sun rose from behind the silhouettes of Slioch and adjacent mountains on the north east side of the Loch – the sun’s position given away by the orange/yellow glow in the sky. Although Loch Maree is large, this was a cold, frosty and largely wind free morning so there are reasonable reflections on the water.
