Life finally let me have a little time out with my camera. So, I went to a place that I knew there would be Night Herons. As I was approaching the spillway some kid on a bike spooked the birds. They flew to nearby trees to wait until it was safe to fly back. I took a couple shots of them in the trees but the wind was blowing and the light was fading so this is the best one I captured. These birds are a patient bunch, I waited over an hour for one to fly back to the spillway, but that is another story.
