Images of Tucson Street Murals – Taken in November 2017.

Since last year when I first laid eyes on the western facing side of the Tucson Warehouse & Transfer Company building I became more aware of the interesting works of art that graced structures throughout the city. From the older “TUCSON” mural near the corner of Stone and Speedway to a number of newer works in the downtown area the bare bricks, plaster and adobe of the non-business side of establishments provided local artists with a clean canvas to bring their visions to fruition.

So I set out for a day in the city to discover and photograph some of the more interesting works of art. I by no means saw them all; I don’t imagine that would be possible unless a person were to dedicate themselves to the job in a fashion that I am not willing to but I believe that for a day’s work I actually captured a fair amount of the most intriguing urban murals.

I admire the artist’s skill and envy their creativity…
