2015 Chicago Cubs vs St. Louis Cardinals

It was late September; the Chicago Cubs were still in the thick of the playoff race and the division leading St. Louis Cardinals were in town. Never mind that the skies were overcast and that it drizzled on and off during the entire afternoon, it was the Cubs and the Cards! In September! And it meant something!

We were in lower deck seats with a great view of the field so I took my camera to get what I could of the old ballpark and of the game. It’s not easy when you have people bobbing up and down in front of you but I coped with the situation at hand and worked to shoot the “feel” of the surroundings as well as the game.

The Cubs jumped out early and never trailed making the day a success by any measure but to view a game in the “Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field” is a treat no matter what the outcome of the game; something every true baseball fan should experience!
