They always have let the Vulgarians wear purple- and I chose to go with a Halloween theme because I saw so much black and red around faire that I wanted to do something different and new.

I liked her 2009 dress better... although I know the Vulgarians are supposed to be non-historical "caricatures" I think this outfit is looks a bit more garish rather than attractive. Interesting that they are allowing her to wear purple on her costume, since that was such a huge no-no in years past.
