Here it is, the photo of me either slipping into or getting out of the stream fed by the ice bath of a lake shown in an earlier photo. That puts the water temperature at 32F. Lucky for me the weather was not that cold. I had to hike 5 miles in soggy shoes and pants. I was trying to get across the stream to join Jerome for a picture using the timer on my camera, but the glacial sediment in the water makes it very slippery. This feature of my camera has led to several humorous shots of me trying to get into place before the shutter goes. Notice Jerome, who shares my sense of humor, doubling over in laughter.
