The cool thing about ski cross is seeing them race head to head instead of individual time trials (although that's how they qualify). You only see 2 here because the other 2 bit it higher up the course. They eventually made their way down. The funniest finishes were the people who bit it on this jump and subsequently tumbled across the finish line, which counts. There's no requirement to finish with all the gear and sometimes they finish without poles, and in the cases noted above, sometimes without skis, either.
