As my parents live in Cambridge, Ontario, I am a frequent visitor to the area. My parents both love nature, and together we have visited various conservation areas in the Cambridge area and travelled further south to celebrated birding spots such as Point Pelee National Park, Hillman Marsh, and Rondeau Provincial Park. Cambridge is about a five and a half drive from Ottawa and yet there are species found here (birds, reptiles, butterflies, odonates, etc.) that are not found in Ottawa. The potential for seeing these species makes any trip to southern Ontario an adventure!
