My fiance and I spent 4 days in Florida (May 20-24, 2014) to do some birding and see the Everglades, a destination we've been hoping to visit for some time now. We spent the first two nights in Homestead to access the eastern half of the park and the last two nights in Port of the Islands near Naples. Both spots were fun, and it was great getting so many life birds right in the city of Homestead! Here is a sampling of what we saw.
