Finished Bike

This is how the bike has evolved. I think it is a lot more balanced looking with a rear fender. There have been several mods to the wiring to solve problems. The latest was to replace the Neutronics ignition after it died and was replaced by a much simpler Pamco unit. The bike has been hauling me around all summer, and is comfortable enough for a 400 mile day. Replacing the Metzlers with Bridgestone Spitfires really transformed the handling. The bike now tracks much better through corners, and does not weave. The 2-1 Mac exhaust was replaced by a Commando exhaust from Mikes. I hit the Mac pipe on a sharp right corner lifting the front wheel off the pavement almost causing me to crash. Needless to say the Mac pipe was gone by the next Friday.....I also added a paper filter/oil cooler which keeps the oil much cleaner. I changed it after the usual 1000 miles, but it was still fairly clean and the bike shifted easily. I plan on changing it at a longer interval in the future.
