Yunnan is a province in the Southwest of China, on the border to Sichuan and Xizang (Tibet) province.
Yunnan is well-known for its multi-ethnic background. About 24 ethnic groups, also Han Chinese, are living here together, most of them have their own traditional languages or religions.
