噶丹松赞林寺Ganden Sumtseling Monastery

This monastery was built in 1679. It is the largest Tibetan buddhist monastery in Yunnan province and the most important monastery in southwest China. Because its design and architecture is so similar to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, it is sometimes also referred to as the Little Potala Palace.
