The Yellow River, a great river coming from the Himalayas, running across the northern part of China, until entering the Yellow Sea, is the most important river of China. Its flood has been destroying villages, cities and people's lives, even until today, but almost 5000 years ago, it was on the bank of the Yellow river where the first sign of civilization appeared.
Today Henan is one of the poorest provinces in China, even though, in the thousands of years history it has been the political and financial center of China. It is astonishing to see, how the history can change everything in a few hundreds of years. But if it can be changed so thoroughly, who knows what the history will be in another 5000 years...
