A quick self-snap taken in the bleachers before the Coin Ceremony. There's a lot of excited moms &
dads, sisters, & brothers, spouses, and friends all gathered for one common purpose -- to celebrate
the achivement of becoming Air Force Airmen.

Although we live in the Philadelphia metro area, we're avid Pittsburgh Steelers fans. Yeah, I'm a
bit of a contrarian, but I'm a loyal contrarian dating back to Franco Harris who comes from my area
where lots of us follow his career and become real Steeler fans. I catch a little (friendly) grief
from a tech sgt who's a Patriots fan ( he keeps looking for me to signal me out during the parent
briefing sessions ). But even here in far-away Texas, Steeler Nation is well represented by folks
who say hello and give a thumbs-up to celebrate the sixth Superbowl ring. I like to think that we
now belong to two great families -- the Air Force and Steeler Nation.
