Located at the approximate center of Simi Valley, the Rancho Simi Community Park is 33 acres packed with ball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic areas, a swimming pool, children's play areas, an ampitheater, and a 2.5 acre lagoon. The lagoon is usually well populated with birds and is even stocked with fish. The Simi Arroyo, which runs east-west through most of the valley is adjacent to the lagoon and offers more opportunities for birders.
