To share my life stories with my family, I am currently working on the story of when I was the cook on the Lady Olga in 1985 when John the owner converted her from shrimp dragging to net swordfish. It was quite an adventure and happened right when the price of swordfish plummeted and those that were fishing for swordfish went on strike. We were out to sea when this happened. It's a wild and crazy story! Curious if you have any contact information for John? I am surprised to see she now lives in Ventura. Thanks Kristy Raihn (Plaehn in "85)

what fine photos. i remember seeing the lady olga in SB in the 70s. i have put perhaps 100,000 miles over the bottom and absolutely love the lines of this vessel. i wonder how many millions of dollars have been made with her
