Sn(ae)fellsnes Peninsula and the West

Day 2 found us landing at the international airport in Keflavik. We took breakfast in Reykjavik and, after a quick tour of the city, traveled northeast to Bogarnes where we stayed at the Hotel Hamar outside of the settlement for two nights. On the afternoon of day 2, we traveled the area NE of Borganes enjoying the sights. On day 3, we went W out onto the Sn(ae)fellnes Peninsula to see some amazing coastal beauty. Day 3 was cold, wet and very windy. On the return to the hotel, we were finally rewarded with some sun and an astonishing rainbow.
