CHITTORGARH

We reboarded the train and traveled to Chittorgarh (aka Chittaugarh) where we visited the Chittorgarh Fort and the remains of palaces within the walls of the fort. Within the fort walls is the Vijay Stambh or Victory Tower builtby Rana Kumbha to commemorate the victory over the Sultan of Gujarat. Also, within the walls is the temple Meera Mandir.
