8/10: Baywatch

I don't go to the beach every day. These beach photos are all from Saturday.
However, by posting a beach photo every day, it makes me feel like I've been to the beach.

Yesterday's Corona Girl just passed 400 hits.

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel
1/320s f/11.0 at 300.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I was wondering if you lived on the beach or something! I am envious anyway! Great desat!

Beachfront. 10 or 12 square feet with deck...yeah, that guard shack equates to about a 1250/Month apt.

I like the shot for it's classic feel. It could be taken last Saturday or thirty years ago

Is this 'Baywatch' or 'Babewatch'?
Great tones ... works really well in B/W!

Nice image, well spotted you caught the moment with this. I like the haze in the background, it really helps the b&w. Is the sign 'KEEP OFF' referring to the girl or tower :)

What fancy lifeguard stations you have there...well, compared to what we have here. :-)

So where's Mitch Bucannan. Not that I ever watched it, of course.....

Great shot.

I'm not really into beaches - except a walk along a beautiful beach at sunset. But when we were in Italy I went swimming at the beach and SAT on a jellyfish. Ouch... it still hurts.

Nice image Jeremy, not sure about the mono.

I might just have to drown ;) Well composed image!

What a wonderful California feel to this picture. Unique to see it in black and white. GMV. Wow, 400 hits on the Corona girl picture. Guess we know which ones going to be near the top of the favorites gallery.

Does that mean to keep off the deck or the lifeguard.

Great composition and DOF with this one Jeremy. I'm sure the Corona shot will far surpass this one, but I like it!

I love this one. Such a holiday atmosphere! Composition is really interesting, with that big palm around the small cabin.

Do you think the high number of hits on the Corona girl is due to your incomparable photography or that people just like beer? ;-)
Guest 11-Aug-2005 10:32
great minds think alike. :)
that title sprang into my mind from viewing the thumbnail. :)
as for corona girl and hits.....i'm not surprised. you got your wife to thank. :P

This is the real Baywatch. Great capture and conversion. She looks very vigilant. I'm not surprised about Corona Girl. ;)

Bravo Jeremy about Corona girl.
This one has perfect tones. What filter you used?
From the thubnail it caught my eye.. And the composition is great too.
Congratulations!

Another Corona please.... or on second thought, make it two!

Well, at least you're making productive use of your time at the beach! Only 400 hits? That's just the beginning...I showed it to my husband, had to wipe the drool off the keyboard. How about a shot of a nice, ripply young man for us women in your audience? We don't have any beaches here :-(
