Jeremy, cool perspective and the sun is a great finishing touch. I'd maybe try putting the tops of those trees a little higher in the frame, but other than that all I can say is that this works very well.

Cool use of wide. Never seen it done with just too before. I like the contrast in lighting between the two trunks

The wide angle really makes the perspective stand out. The sun flare on the one tree adds a nice touch as well.

Sweet composition. Fantastic detail up the left trunk practically drawn by the light. The sunburst on the right, at first it seemed jarring but after a moment it made sense. Beautiful shot. Vote.

Great lens or the tallest trees in the world? Great idea!
Guest 04-Aug-2005 22:52
Beautiful dark, deep blue. Vertiginous composition, that keeps only essential elements.
Chris Sofopoulos04-Aug-2005 20:57
You adore this lense!! Great abstract and perspective. I like the 90deg angles.
markvm04-Aug-2005 20:54
Nice! I like how the wide angle sends both trees to an apex. The glint of sun is a nice added feature, also.
Al Chesworth04-Aug-2005 17:36
Wow. Please stop using that lens, we all want one.

Excellent use of 'our' wide-angle lens. Makes a striking image. The blue sky is soooo clear, and I liked the way you caught the hint of sun.
Karen Leaf04-Aug-2005 03:21
GREAT shot. They look huge, and to have the sun peeking thru adds just the right amount of light. Super. Vote.
