Hey Irvine company, every heard of something called freedom of speech. Sure, legal action would be appropriate if the photos are used for commercial purposes. But non commercial use is protected.

Any and all photography depicting Fashion Island, Fashion Island retailers, Fashion Island customers and any Irvine Company property taken without the expressed written permission of The Irvine Company must be removed immediately to prevent any legal action. Your photo has been submitted to Fashion Island Security and any further unauthorized photography will result in your removal and ban from the center. Your immediate cooperation is appreciated. If you wish to conduct any future photography at Fashion Island, please contact Fashion Island management during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Thank you.

Wow, Newport Beach, the very center of affluent suburban O.C.
One question, how did you get all these nice candid photos without getting hassled by mall security? In one afternoon, I was stopped twice. They said that I cannot photograph customers, store fronts, merchandises, signs and prices. The only available subject is a blank wall (or perhaps the gold plated fire hydrant LOL).

I used to live ten minutes from Fashion Island. I would get my Starbucks coffee and sit on those comfy chairs as shown in the first photo. Or just to people watch, I would sit out by the fish pond. Thanks for the memories!
