MYANMAR (BURMA)

Burma - the golden land. The land of Theravada Buddhism, and endless pagodas and countless monks.

Together with 12 others, I went on a photo trip/expedition to Burma, covering Yangon (Rangoon), Bagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake. This was a different kind of trip for me, and I share with you here some impressions of Burma as seen through my camera lens. I hope you enjoy viewing the photos, as much as I enjoy taking them.

Though I grew up in those places, I have never noticed how beautiful those places and people are until I saw your galleries. Your perspectives and artistic skills highlight the extraordinary beauty in those scenes which I regarded as the ordinary ones.

lovely record of your Myanmar trip. I shall come back and look at all the pictures again. Just thought I would let you know that! Great job! I have put up some of the Tongle Sap picture in my Cambodia gallery. I suppose it's almost the same like Inle Lake. Just that it looks more mystical and `cleaner' than TS.
