Oddly, this image has been one of the more popular ones in my galleries. I say "oddly" because I don't especially rate it myself. The light was terrible and I only took it because my then girlfriend, now wife, was on the bridge and to record this odd pre-renaissance engineering. They made this bridge in the early 14th century (at least this version of it) and it must have been the most astonishingly difficult thing to build. Adjusting for the technology and building techniques available, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it knocked the Brooklyn Bridge into a cocked hat...
