September 4, 2006

I thought I had my photo-of-the-day pretty early. On my walk to my car this morning, I happened upon raindrops that were lying on some leaves. They were so beautiful. I spent several minutes exploring the details, each drop being unique, reflecting the World in their own way.
I was sure I had my photo-of-the-day...until I got to lunch.
I was so happy to see Christine and Jeff today. The last time we got together, it was Memorial Day. It's kind of a sad coincidence that today is Labor Day and the entire summer has slipped away without having the opportunity to see my dear friends. Hopefully autumn will be a season that will lend itself to having more crossing paths.
We all have a limited view of the World. Our experiences extend only has far as each of our days can take us. But, the times we sit with friends and share aspects of our lives, we get a glimps of the greater World "reflected" in these experiences. And, with Christine and Jeff, this is aways such a lovely (and humorous) view.
And, Happy Birthday, Jeff!
