So Rudy may have saved this portrait-a-day project, at least for one more day.
Today, I was seriously considering ending this project early. I guess fatigue has set in. I have been struggling a bit over the past few days. On some days, it is downright difficult to muster up the energy to try to come up with something. I thought that it would be a compromise to perhaps shift back to a "photo-a-day" project...not all portraits but likely still some.
It was pretty late at night after a good day of running here and there. I looked down at the floor at the climbing gym and there was Rudy. He was fighting so fiercely to extract the yummy doggie treat from this rubber toy. It was such a small opening for such a big nose! I finally helped him out a bit...a fair trade for being my model. So, if I quit, it won't be today.
I was down at Princeton today for a meeting to discuss the possibility of bringing Peak Potential's adaptive rock climbing program for children with disabilities to the campus. I was happy to encounter the great enthusiasm for this possible project as well as the beautiful scenery that I miss very much.
