I'm finishing this day, and the weekend, with a smile.
It's been really busy, and somewhat stressful. Even last night's White Castle meal couldn't fully make all things well again ( http://www.pbase.com/jenfu/image/43382990 ).
But, today I was imspired again.
We held our second adaptive rock climbing training workshop for physical and occupational therapists today ( http://www.peakclimb.org/ ). On an early, Sunday morning, many kind souls came out to make this day possible (the therapists, Peak Potential volunteers, and staff from the NJ Rock Gym).
With climbing playing such a prominant and important role in my own life, it was wonderful to see and hear the joy in the participants who were experiencing climbing for the first time.
So, I thank the therapists for taking the time to investigate something different (and perhaps a little strange) as well as those volunteers who continue to breathe life into this program.
Cheers.
