We climbed at a very beautiful crag today called the Tsunami Wall. The climbs were quite steep and difficult but one named “Aftershock” in particular was very enjoyable.
Doug took a run on it. The steepness of the climb made for great swings when one fell. In addition to being very strong, I admire Doug’s approach to climbing. It seems that it is always about fun. There is no competition…no ego. There are no loud celebrations with success and no excuses when things don’t go as well as hoped. As you can see from this photo, good nature allows you to turn even a fall into a fun ride!
