I've begun to carry my "big" camera around a bit more. Today I was driving to the hospital and stopped when I saw these two ducks hanging out in this small pond. I noticed this scene because of the mirror-still water. It stands in stark contrast to the conditions we had last night. The storm that brought such heartbreak to Florida reached us, but with much less punch. Still, it had the power to shake things up a little bit. These ducks managed to weather this storm. I hope for the same for our neighbors down in Florida who are rebuilding their homes and lives.
