Infared Photography

Would you mind very much sharing your workflow to get to this amazing image?

I am a 20 year veteran photographer who is just back to work full time this year after a pair of frozen shoulders (no sympathy required...I am able to shoot again and very happy to be making a bit of a come back after nearly 4 years off).

I think my people stuff days are almost over. I need a plan B and always loved shooting IR stuff (film) so have converted a camera and now am interested in finding lovely ways to showcase the IR work from both color enhanced bodies and traditional IR conversions.

I am comfy with channel swapping on traditional IR but need help figuring out how to get the best final creations from the enhanced color body.

HELP?

Love the toned IR images you produce.

Wonderful IR gallery, you did great at the Zoo, I tried some there when I first ggiot my camera converted, hard to figure out which ones would work or not but you nailed it.

You work the light with excellence, it just glows, and the wide angle shots are very strong. The
color and black and white images are a joy to see. I enjoy the way you see images, they are beautiful.

I saw your post on the Fujifilm forum at dpreview.com - you're photos inspired me so much that I sent in a camera to be converted to IR as well. It's on its way back from the shop and is due in a few days. In the meantime I am enjoying viewing your photographs and keep coming back to them. You have a great eye and IR or not, these photos are impressive. Keep up the good work!
